Intimacy Co-ordinator

I am a South West and Midlands based Intimacy Co-ordinator and Director in training with the inaugural cohort of Certified Intimacy Co-ordinators at NFTS (2024). Attuned to the needs of clients both in front of the camera and behind, I support cast, crew and production teams in creative, efficient, consent forward processes which enhance intimate storytelling. I am available to support on both stage and screen productions, to deliver educational workshops and to consult on projects with intimate content.

I have a broad resume of experience across stage and screen productions, youth work and sexual violence prevention and my unique pathway to the role has prepared me for my specialisms in simulated sexual violence, LGBTQIA+ stories and working with young actors. 

My flexible process is informed by the creative insight into the actor-director process acquired throughout my undergraduate studies in Drama (Theatre, Film and Television) and further vocational training in performance and directing at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre. This passion for artful storytelling is at the core of my collaborative intimacy practice.

As a Sexual Health & Sexuality Educator and Sexual Violence Prevention Advocate I have delivered inclusive and trauma informed educational workshops for thousands of people  across the UK. I have a decade of experience working with young people as a targeted youth worker, teacher and facilitator in creative and educational settings. Combined with my Intimacy expertise, these values underpin every stage of my process.

I am a member of the BECTU Intimacy Branch and prioritise continuing professional development. To date, I have carried out CPD workshops and training with Intimacy Directors and Co-ordinators, Principal Intimacy Professionals, Moving Body Arts, Cintima, Screenskills and NVC Academy. I hold an enhanced DBS certificate, Creative Industries Safety Passport and Mental Health First Aid Certification.
